Pick-up Hockey

AMD’s Rec Park is happy to offer pick up hockey for AMD Employees ages 18+ on Friday mornings *with the exception of some weeks*. Simply choose the date you’d like to play to begin your registration, and the Rec Park team will be ready to check you in when you arrive!

Pick-up Hockey Rules:

• Maximum of 30 players and 2 goalies per session.
• Teams will play half the allotted time then goalies will switch sides and the game will continue.
• Players are required to supply their own jerseys and hockey socks.
• Pucks are not supplied by the Rec Park.
• Full equipment is mandatory (helmets, gloves, hockey pants, shin pads, and elbow pads).
• CSA approved hockey helmets with full cage or half visor are mandatory. If wearing a half visor, a mouthguard is mandatory.
• No referees are on the ice; players are expected to manage the game themselves and sort teams in a way to promote fair games.
• No slap shots.
• Non-contact rules apply; no hitting, tripping, boarding, checking will be tolerated.
• There is no tolerance for any verbal or physical altercations.

Anyone found to be breaking any rules will be prohibited from playing in any future games.

Cost:

• Players: $10 + HST
• Goalies: Free
