League Overview

The Dofasco Women’s Volleyball League is open to ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees, retirees, family members, and ArcelorMittal Dofasco sponsored associates.

Players are required to play with suitable court shoes (non-marking soles), and knee-pads are recommended.

ArcelorMittal Dofasco Associates: $175 + HST

Schedule

The 2026-2027 Season will run from October 6th 2026 – April 13th 2027 on Tuesdays @ 8:00pm-10:00pm.

There will be no sessions on the following days:

December 22nd 2026
December 29th 2026
March 16th 2026

Refund Policy

There will be no full refunds after the first 2 weeks of play.

League Waiver & Privacy Policy

I understand that I play in the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Women’s Volleyball League at my own risk and hereby release each of ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P., F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre, and the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Women’s Volleyball League from any claims of any kind for any damage to any of my property or injury to myself. In case of any medical or other emergency that may occur while I am participating in these activities, I hereby authorize ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P., its servants and employees, to take such action as they consider appropriate, including, without limitation, providing or obtaining medical or surgical attention. I agree to indemnify each of them against any claim made by others for any act of default by me occurring, during, or arising out of my participation.

I hereby grant permission to ArcelorMittal Dofasco, F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre, and the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Women’s Volleyball League to use photographs and/or video of this registered player taken at Dofasco Recreational Park in communications related to the mission of supporting said league.

I agree to comply with all municipal, provincial and federal requirements and protocols that may be in place from time to time in connection with Covid-19, together with any related requirements and protocols established by ArcelorMittal Dofasco from time to time, and any failure to do so may result in termination of membership at the option of the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Recreation.

I have read and understood the Rowan’s Law booklet (all ages).

I have read and understood the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Zero Tolerance Policy.

THE UNDERSIGNED PARTICIPANTS UNDERSTAND AND AGREE:

ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees must play in off-shift time. Time off from work will not be granted to participate in activity.

Any League uniforms are the property of ArcelorMittal Dofasco and must be returned on request by the League Team Manager or the Recreation Department.

Connection with activity ceases if ArcelorMittal Dofasco terminates employment.

Activity may continue if the employee resigns from ArcelorMittal Dofasco and signs an appropriate release form. League/Club eligibility rules to continue to play must be adhered to.

Can have all privileges revoked immediately, at any time, at ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s sole discretion.

I am responsible for any damage I may cause to the facilities and I understand that I will be billed for the repairs.

In addition, pursuant to the Personal Information and Protection of Privacy Act, I consent to the use by ArcelorMittal Dofasco of my personal information for the purpose of the administration of the Facility’s programs and leagues and any disclosure to authorities, including but not limited to Hamilton Police Services, in connection with any investigations relating to the Facility and/or the Activity.
