League Overview

The AMD Minor Soccer League plays at F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, and is open to children and grandchildren of AMD employees and retirees, family members, and AMD sponsored associates.

Price:

  • U4 (ages 3 or 4, born in 2021 or 2022) – $80 + HST
  • U6 (ages 5 or 6, born in 2019 or 2020) – $80 + HST
  • U8 (ages 7 or 8, born in 2017 or 2018) – $120 + HST
  • U10 (ages 9 or 10, born in 2015 or 2016) – $120 + HST
  • U12 (ages 11 or 12, born in 2013 or 2014) – $120 + HST
  • U14 (ages 13 or 14, born in 2011 or 2012) – $120 + HST
  • U17 (ages 15, 16, 17, born in 2008, 2009, or 2010) – $120 + HST

*Children and grandchildren of ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees and/or retirees receive 10% discount.

Fee includes the following:

  • Shirt
  • Shorts
  • Socks
  • Soccer Ball
  • Water Bottle
  • Photos (Team & Individual)
  • End-of-Season Trophy
  • End-of-Season Pizza Party

All practices and games are played at the F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre.

U4 (ages 3 or 4, born in 2020 or 2021)
  • Saturday mornings from 9am-10am
  • Start date: May 25, 2024
  • End date: August 10, 2024
U6 (ages 5 or 6, born in 2018 or 2019)
  • Saturday mornings from 10:15am-11:15am
  • Start date: May 25, 2024
  • End date: August 10, 2024
U8 (ages 7 or 8, born in 2016 or 2017)
  • Practices are on Monday evenings @ 5:45pm
  • Games are on Wednesday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm
  • Start date: May 27, 2024
  • End date: August 28, 2024
U10 (ages 9 or 10, born in 2014 or 2015)
  • Practices are on Monday evenings @ 7pm
  • Games are on Thursday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm
  • Start date: May 27, 2024
  • End date: August 29, 2024
U12 (ages 11 or 12, born in 2012 or 2013)
  • Practices are on Monday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm
  • Games are on Wednesday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm

U14 (ages 13 or 14, born in 2010 or 2011)
  • Practices are on Tuesday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm
  • Games are on Thursday evenings @ 5:45pm or 7pm

U17 (ages 15, 16, 17, born in 2007, 2008, or 2009)
  • Games are on Tuesday evenings @ 6pm or 7:30pm
  • Start date: May 28, 2024

End-Of-Season Party for U8-U17 will be on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

 

No Play Dates:

  • Saturday, June 29, 2024 – Tuesday, July 2, 2024
  • Saturday, August 3, 2024 – Monday, August 5, 2024

 

Teams will be assigned on the week of May 18, 2024.
