Tennis-Pickleball Club Schedule

Club Overview

The Dofasco Tennis-Pickleball Club is open to ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees, retirees, family members, and ArcelorMittal Dofasco sponsored associates.

Programs Offered:

  • Tennis and Pickleball Membership: $135 + HST – Includes exclusive use of courts during all Tennis and Pickleball scheduled sessions
  • Pickleball Membership: $80 + HST – Includes exclusive use of courts during all Pickleball scheduled sessions
  • Tennis Membership: $80 + HST – Includes exclusive use of courts during all Tennis scheduled sessions
  • Junior Membership: $40 + HST – Includes exclusive use of courts during all Junior scheduled sessions. No instruction or lessons included. Available for players 17 years and younger to come enjoy the courts with their family (adult family members must be a registered Tennis-Pickleball Club member).

Ages and Skill Level:

  • Tennis/Pickleball Memberships: 18+
  • Junior Mempbership: 17 years and younger
  • All skill levels welcome!

Important Dates:

  • League Start Date: May 5, 2025
  • League End Date: October 3, 2025
  • Open House: May  5 – May 10 *Available for non-members to try out our courts. Please note we require a waiver form to be signed, and a valid Employee/Retiree name & Perm # upon arrival (either your own or your sponsor’s).
  • There will no session on the following days:
      • Monday, May 19, 2025
      • Friday, June 27, 2025 – Wednesday, July 2, 2025
      • Monday, August 4, 2025
      • Monday, September 1, 2025
Process for Club Drop in Hours

If you’d like to use the courts during the drop-in hours (Saturdays):

  • You must be a member of the Tennis-Pickleball club
  • Email dofasco.recreation@arcelormittal.com with the date/time you’d like to play, including all player’s names. All requests must be made at least 48 hours before preferred play time, and you must receive confirmation from the Rec Park to play.

If you’re a Tennis-Pickleball member and you have guests you’d like to bring to drop-in hours:

  • All guests must be accompanied by a registered Tennis Member.
  • All guests must be registered ($5 + HST fee) and paid before playing.

Looking to play outside of the Club's scheduled hours?

If you’d like to play Tennis or Pickleball but the above hours don’t work with your schedule, no worries! We offer court rentals outside of the Tennis-Pickleball Club’s scheduled hours! See below for process:

1) Visit our Facility Rental Inquiry page and fill out the form *All requests must be made at least 48 hours before preferred play time, and you must receive confirmation from the Rec Park to play.

2) Once you arrive to the Rec Park, visit the Rec Park office to sign a rental contract and make your payment *Debit/Credit accepted. No cash accepted.

3) The Rec Park team will have you sign out the Tennis Court key (exchanging a set of your keys).

4) Play away!

League Waiver & Privacy Policy

I understand that I play in the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Tennis-Pickleball Club at my own risk and hereby release each of ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P., F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre, and the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Tennis-Pickleball Club from any claims of any kind for any damage to any of my property or injury to myself.  In case of any medical or other emergency that may occur while I am participating in these activities, I hereby authorize ArcelorMittal Dofasco G.P., its servants and employees, to take such action as they consider appropriate, including, without limitation, providing or obtaining medical or surgical attention. I agree to indemnify each of them against any claim made by others for any act of default by me occurring, during, or arising out of my participation.

I hereby grant permission to ArcelorMittal Dofasco, F.H. Sherman Recreation & Learning Centre, and the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Tennis-Pickleball Club to use photographs and/or video of this registered player taken at Dofasco Recreational Park in communications related to the mission of supporting said league.

I agree to comply with all municipal, provincial and federal requirements and protocols that may be in place from time to time in connection with Covid-19, together with any related requirements and protocols established by ArcelorMittal Dofasco from time to time, and any failure to do so may result in termination of membership at the option of the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Recreation. 

I have read and understood the Rowan’s Law booklet (all ages). 

I have read and understood the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Zero Tolerance Policy. 

THE UNDERSIGNED PARTICIPANTS UNDERSTAND AND AGREE:

ArcelorMittal Dofasco employees must play in off-shift time. Time off from work will not be granted to participate in activity.

Any League uniforms are the property of ArcelorMittal Dofasco and must be returned on request by the League Team Manager or the Recreation Department.

Connection with activity ceases if ArcelorMittal Dofasco terminates employment.

Activity may continue if the employee resigns from ArcelorMittal Dofasco and signs an appropriate release form.  League/Club eligibility rules to continue to play must be adhered to.

Can have all privileges revoked immediately, at any time, at ArcelorMittal Dofasco’s sole discretion.

I am responsible for any damage I may cause to the facilities and I understand that I will be billed for the repairs.

In addition, pursuant to the Personal Information and Protection of Privacy Act, I consent to the use by ArcelorMittal Dofasco of my personal information for the purpose of the administration of the Facility’s programs and leagues and any disclosure to authorities, including but not limited to Hamilton Police Services, in connection with any investigations relating to the Facility and/or the Activity.
